Yesterday an acquaintance told me of how a person kinda close to me at work actually talks behind my back about me & my work. What that persons motive is, I have no idea. But I told myself, keep calm Fiqrie. You are here because you love your work, you like making people happy. Then this morning my Kak Long (eldest sister) woke me up by sharing this Hari Raya ad with me. It welled my eyes instantly. And I thought, how could sometimes people get so carried away with life, wanting so hard to succeed at work/life, at earning more money, being popular or whatsoever...til they forgot about being, first and foremost, human.
I am not that holy, pretend to be good, nor am I a preacher. But I write posts like this as a reminder for myself, and those who are willing to read - Cherish those who love you, especially your parents and family. And those who treats you kindly. Why hurt each other?
